He's Dead, Jim
My round-trip commute is less than 10 miles*. I'm on the Interstate for about two miles one-way. Yesterday alone I passed three major pieces of roadkill. I say pieces because, well, you know, I can't tell what kind of animals they are were. One of them was on his back with his little paws in the air. If he wasn't dead it might have been cute. That was yesterday. Today he's not looking quite so playful.
In other driving news, my little Lennier had a birthday of sorts.
My Lennier is growing up. I've had him for seven years as of this past April. I can't believe it's been that long. This summer he's going to Illinois for the first time so he'll finally start racking up some miles.
Oh, by the way, my little green friend on the left is Harry. His brown brother is Harry too. They've been with me since I had my first car, Bruce. :-)
*Don't even get me started on DRIVING for such a short commute. I'd take the bus but it would take over an hour. I'd cycle but I'd have to go on the Interstate. It drives me nuts. I wish there was better public transportation around here.
