You are too funny, and I miss you posting regularly!!

The lemon face is HILARIOUS! she is so cute. I see you nomming on her in that first pic!

Geez, who knew elephants could get the herps. So sad!!

Owie on the footie. I hope it is better soon.

OWIE re bee sting. Yikes! And GHA! I didn't know herpes could kill an animal of that size!! Good lord. Must have something to do with their skin...

That is a very cute baby!!!
Herpes? I didn't even know they had toilet seats big enough for elephants. Oh, well.

Sorry about the bee sting - I'm a major wimp when it comes to those.
You're right about when they get older - I really wish I had been able to spend more time with the nephews when they were little. Cuter and much easier to shop for - ha!
Sister thought that was terribly nerdy.

Are you sure she didn't say, "Gee Sis, you're terribly nerdy?"

And you replied, "Takes one to know one?"

Muhahahahaha!
Everytime I take the grandkids to the zoo, it seems like it gets hot enough to melt them into the pavement. What is up with that?
Alls I know is that our zoo was kind enough to set out industrial fans tied to a hose that sprayed an awesome cool mist at decent intervals along the paths. That alone made it worth it.

The zoo was really deserted, and it was probably 2 or 3 by the time we had hoofed it around the place. At that point we decided to take the train around the park. We were the ONLY ones on the train. I felt special and a little sad that they ran it just for us!
Last time we went, it was so hot.... How hot was it?... You could hear all the kids literally melting. It was so hot, we actually had to stop at the back of the zoo and take the tram all the way back tot he front. They just couldn't go on any further. They did sleep the whole trip home too. Wore them right out...

I see you nomming on her in that first pic!

Just don't tell my sister. I needed a fix and her brain was right there. I mean, seriously, what's a girl to do?
