Anyone Have A Fire Extinguisher?
I can't listen to Bush speak anymore. Even snippets on the news make me scream and curse at my car radio. You can see me on I-90 shaking my fist at my dashboard almost every day at rush hour.
And yet, once in a while the monster (I was going to say 'man' but it didn't seem to fit) surprises me. The whole 'dead or alive' thing had me rolling on the floor. I couldn't believe it when he taunted "Bring 'em on" (that brilliant bit of diplomacy worked out nicely for us!). And when I read that he was the decider I laughed for ... well ... I still laugh.
But today my head asplode.
I think... I'm proud of the efforts that we did. Uh, we liberated that country from a tyrant. Uh, I think the Iraqi people owe the American people a huge debt of gratitude.
I cannot even begin to respond to this kind of fucked up ignorance.

well, that's good to know. at least they know how to separate the regular people from the gov't unlike us. where were you in Europe?
I haven't been over there in over 10 years---I never ever had a problem but I didn't know if that has changed or not.
Tony, Can we even blame anyone for hating us at this point? Even Iraqis who were sympathetic at the beginning quickly lost their patience as their innocent friends and relatives began dying around them.
Jamestr, I used to think I had to listen to EVERYTHING before I made an informed decision. But listening to Shrub is hazardous to my health at this point - it took forever to put out the fire on my head last night.
Iraqi's aside - the entire Middle East is a hotbed for pure American hatred. I'll agree that Bush has been terrorism's biggest recruiter, but one thing is certain - they've hated everything about us for a long, long time. Hell, the entire Saudi gov't sponsers what are essentially schools of hate HERE in the U.S.

And he's in bed with them because the Saudi family, over time, has pumped in over $1.5 billion into companies that Bush family members had key roles - whether by sitting on the board or outright owning the company.
Cash is king with them. That's why despite all of the hype about protecting us from evil terrorists, the Mexican border is practically wide open. Why?
Because major corporations depend on the cheap labor. Nevermind the fact that if some poor immigrant with no shoes on his feet can make it across the border - surely a highly organized terrorist organization could do the same, money wins out.
In a Capitalist society? I am SHOCKED - SHOCKED I tell you!
