I hope you enjoy.
We are very amazed that we are enjoying being "snowbirds"..
Who would have thought, exercise every morning, walking everyday, going to the pool most everyday, taking "Charlie" to the dog beach. Going to dances, playing cards, and most of all spending alot of time with my "house husband" .
We are meeting alot of wonderful people from all over the US and Canada.
I am missing my friends from home. . thank goodness for computers and cell phones.
Life is good. . ..

Good Morning! It is much easier to blog going down the interstate.
Today is my brother Tim’s b-day, he is no longer just 50, he is 51! Happy Birthday!
We left Navarre, FL. It is between Pensacola and Ft Walton Beach. We stayed at Navarre Beach Campground. We were only ___ft from the intercoasal with a dock to walk out on to watch the sunsets and a small beautiful beach area. I will try to send pictures. The area was not congested at all.
The and in this area is so white and fine. There are snow fences up to keep it from blowing so much.
On Friday, November 29 (Kaleb’s 6th B-day) we went to the Air force Armament Museum. It was really awesome to see all of the different types of aircraft used in the military. We took many pictures. I thought a lot of what Greg’s grandfather who was in WWII.
Saturday, we drove to Pensacola Beach. The main road used to go all the way around the Island, but because of Hurricane Ivan, the road (Barrier Island) is still closed and the city doesn’t have the money yet to make the repairs. A lot of beautiful white sand with a lot of sand dunes. You will see in some of the photos, it really looks like snow.
We have found some good places to eat. Flounder’s at Pensacola Beach, has great fried oysters, and great claim chowder!
Today, we decided to get back on the road and head farther east/south. Hopefully little warmer. 60 – 70 degrees still seems cool. I know most of you are in ice and snow. SORRY.
We are having a great time. We miss everyone, but not the weather.
We don’t know where we will be tonight, I will let you know!
We are in High Springs, FL, just off I75. It is a small, clean and nice campground. We have the air on. I am hoping to win in Monopoly tonight!!
Everyone have a safe and quiet evening!
Love to you all,
Cathy, Craig, and Charlie

Day 1
We were both up early! We left home at 7:00 AM. – It started out with a little sun, then clouds, overcast. It seems to be easy going so far! Charlie is just happy to be going with!
We decide to leave a day early! And why not. This will be a great adventure!
We stopped at a rest stop just before Springfield. Charlie needed a walk, so did we! We decided it was to cold to stay, so we jumped back in the motor home and headed south!
It is about 10:45 AM and we our just out of Springfield. It is raining. Traffic picked up around Lincoln, Illinois. Back to two lane traffic. More later. . .
Well, it’s 2:00 PM and it is still raining. But, it is not snow or ice, so I like that.
We stopped for gas just south of St. Louis, (Hermatitie),
Our plans are to stop in Sikeston, Mo. We just want to take our time and take it easy.
Theresa just called!
We stopped at Hinton RV Park, Sikeston, MO. We are right off of I55.
We decided we were tired of turkey and ham. We went to Lambert’s Café for dinner. You can check it out at www.throwedrolls.com
The food was great! But way too much.
Are next stop will be Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Tomorrow will be another long day. We are hoping for good weather.
.
Have you ever ridden in a hot air balloon or a helicopter? Where did you go?
Yes! We went up in the air!
I crewed for a friend that had a hot air balloon. I was part of the chase vehicle. We always tried to go over the Mississippi River, and we would dip the balloon in the water and then go back up into the beautiful sky. It was amazing.
Well, I am agian up at 4 in the morning! My only wish this year would be to sleep all night! I should call Mr Val. But, hopefully after Wednesday, I will be healed! I am having Anterior Cervical Fusion C6/7. My husband had this surgery two or three years ago and was releaved of pain right away! I hope this surgery works for me.
If not, I amon my way to the Mayo Clinic! If there is someting wrong they will find it and fix it. We have appointments there in the Spring for our physicals. If anyone has ever been there, it is an amazing place.
Well, I have taken my morning dose of medications! I hope they start working soon so I can go back to my recliner and catch a couple of ZZ before my day gets to crazy!.
If my daughter reads this, I want her to know I am in need of help with VOX. I really want to learn how to use it better. I am going to blog my Fall and Winter trip(s). I know everyone wants to see and hear about our Fall Hillbilly Trip. We are leaving for Florida for the Winter after Thanksgiving and not returning until April. There will be alot to talk about and see. What an adventure we will have.
I didn't get my most embarrissing moment posted in time, so know one will ever know about the time our daughter (C) and son-in-law (M) stopped over without calling first, I am sure they got an eye full and were grossed out by the fact that their parents still "do it" around the house.
Or the time that my daughter (Val) came running out of my bedroom singing a rock song into "a girls best friend" not a microphone. My husband and I were totaly red in the face and my daughter so young (7) did not know what was going on. I now have a really good place for my special microphone! And now whenever I have to speak or sing into a microphone, I laugh and know one knows why.
Anyway, some day before I leave on our trips I will figure this out!
Have a wonderful Autum day!
